Our Story

Bloom Supply started with a simple frustration.

The legal cannabis market in Canada promised a lot when it opened in 2018 — quality, consistency, transparency, and access. For a lot of Canadians, especially those outside major urban centres, that promise fell short. Provincial retail stores were limited in selection, frequently out of stock on anything worth buying, and priced in a way that made the legal market feel punitive rather than accessible. The alternative — relying on street-level sources — meant inconsistent quality, zero accountability, and unnecessary risk for something that was now entirely legal.

We built Bloom Supply to close that gap.

Our Sourcing Standards

Every product on our shelves comes from a Canadian source we have personally vetted. For cannabis, that means licensed cultivators who operate within the regulatory framework of the Cannabis Act — growers who test their product for potency and contaminants and can back up their claims with documentation.

For psilocybin products, we work with established Canadian cultivators who apply the same standards of accuracy and consistency to their mushroom products that our cannabis suppliers apply to their flower — correct strain identification, accurate weighing, proper storage and packaging.

We don’t work with sources we haven’t verified. We don’t list products we haven’t assessed. And when a supplier’s quality slips — which happens — we pull their products until the standard is restored.
